Generic Propecia has been available for several years in the United States. I personally use brand Propecia but if I had to use a generic I'd use Teva based on users over here and other hair loss forums claiming it legit. BPH is caused by an enlarged prostate. The second brand I went on caused my hair to fall a ton within 2 weeks of taking it, and has continued for 2 months. It will increase testosterone levels in the body, which decreases prostate size and increases hair growth on the scalp. I'm a student and although I can afford Propecia (merck) It will burn a huge hole in my pocket.
