I apologize for not replying sooner but I have been dealing with post-concussion syndrome. It is more likely to cause insomnia than drowsiness. Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) is an effective medicine for treating depression, but it is more expensive than many other medicines that work just like it.

Then, a Psychiatrist added WELLBUTRIN XL. I did some research, and decided on Pristiq as it wasn't an SSRI.
